The ARMATEX® SF 60 Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric is a durable medium weight fabric coated on both sides with a silicone rubber compound. With a finished weight of 60 oz/yd² and a thickness of 0.070 in, this fabric is ideal for constructing removable insulation pads under harsh conditions. It excels in weld spatter protection, heat shields, splash curtains, and more. Certified to ASTM E162, E 84.84a, and MIL-I-24244, this fabric's base can withstand temperatures up to 1000 ºF, while the coating offers a temperature rating of 450 ºF (232 ºC) and transient exposure up to 600 ºF (315 ºC).
