FireTech™ Tape is a high-temperature insulator made from high bulk fiberglass coated with iron oxide red silicone rubber. Withstanding continuous exposure to temperatures up to 500º F and shedding hot molten slag at 2,000º F for 15 minutes, FireTech™ is rugged, reliable, and meets criteria in SAE Standard AS1055 Rev. D. Ideal for steel mills, glass manufacturers, and other fire-exposed environments, it is RoHS and WEEE certified, zero halogen, and suitable for applications demanding high heat resistance.
