The Invar® 36 Plate is a high-performance nickel-iron-chromium alloy enhanced with copper, molybdenum, and niobium for superior stability and corrosion resistance. Ideal for tanks, piping, heat exchangers, and various process equipment, this plate offers exceptional resistance to general and crevice corrosion in harsh chemical environments. With a composition of 36.0% Nickel and 64.0% Iron, it boasts impressive mechanical properties including a Tensile Strength of 71000 psi, Yield Strength of 35000 psi, and an Elongation of 42%. Operating within a Melting Temperature Range of 2610 ºF, this ASTM-compliant UNS K93600 plate in shapeform is 1.500 inches thick, providing reliability and durability for critical applications.
