The MARTIN® SAF2™ Secondary Cleaners are designed for belt widths ranging from 18" to 96" and offer a maximum belt speed of 800 FPM. Featuring tungsten carbide blades and a stainless steel mainframe, these cleaners effectively remove carryback without causing damage to belts or splices. The unique low-pressure 'deflected blade' design ensures efficient cleaning even on 'worst-case' belts. With 28 blades of 3" width, these cleaners require minimal tensioning pressure, enhancing blade longevity and reducing the risk of belt damage. The clamp-mount design allows for flexible installation, and the simple blade replacement mechanism further contributes to ease of maintenance.
