The MARTIN® SQC2S™ Secondary Belt Cleaner is designed for belt widths ranging from 18" to 96" and belt speeds up to 700 FPM. It features individually-cushioned tungsten carbide blades that ensure effective cleaning without causing damage to the belt, splice, or blade. With a compact design to fit in tight spaces and a blade cartridge for easy maintenance, this cleaner offers consistent cleaning pressure and resistance to material build-up. ApplicationMartin Engineering recommends that the MARTIN® SQC2⢠Secondary Belt Cleaner System be installed so the clean ing blade contacts the belt at a point 2 to 4 in. (51 to 102 mm) after the point where the belt leaves the head (discharge) pulley. If obstructions prevent installation at this point, or if additional cleaners are desired, the cleaner should be installed 2 to 4 in.
