The Petersen® 143-2 Series T-Handle Expandable Rubber Plug offers exceptional versatility and cost-effectiveness for sealing holes or hanging products. Made with Neoprene rubber, this plug features a brass handle and zinc-plated steel hardware for durability. Its T-handle design ensures a secure grip during installation. With a 1 7/8in nominal size and expandable design, this plug accommodates various hole sizes. Lightweight and reusable, it can be easily installed without any tools. Not pressure rated. Ideal for institutional and commercial applications.

Refer to the Tools, Installation, Operation and Maintenance section for proper maintenance procedures.Note: Caution should be exercised in proper selection of medium pressure tubing based on actual operating conditions. Two tubing series available in some sizes: 15000 psi (1034 bar) and 20000 psi (1380 bar).

Extreme Temperatures Standard Autoclave valves with Teflon packing may be operated from 0°F (-17.8°C) to 450°F (232°C). High temperature packing and/or extended stuffing box are available for service from -423°F (-252°C) to 1200°F (649°C) by adding the following suffixes to catalog order number. TG standard valve with Teflon glass packing to 600°F (316°C). GY standard valve with graphite braided yarn packing to 800°F (427°C). Note: 3/4â rated 8000 psi (552 bar) and 1â rated 6000 psi (412 bar) maximum with graphite yarn packing.â HT extended stuffing box valve with graphite braided yarn packing to 1200°F (649°C). B standard valve with cryogenic trim materials and Teflon packing to -100°F (-73°C). LT extended stuffing box valve with Teflon packing and cryogenic trim materials to -423°F (-252°C). â This packing will affect the pressure rating. Refer to Technical Information section.
