Opticonx Uniboot Polarity Switchable Patch Cords feature high density, small form factor LC connectors mated to 2.0 mm round duplex cable. They are used to connect switches or network devices in fiber networks directly or interconnect structured cabling systems in a fiber network. Polarity changes can be made in the field quickly, without the use of tools, to the correct fiber mapping polarity.

Multimode patch cords shall have an optical return loss of -25 dB or better per mated pair, and single mode shall have an optical return loss of -55 dB or better for UPC polish. Insertion loss shall not exceed 0.15 dB permated pair for multimode Xtreme Low Loss(XL) and 0.25 for Low Loss(LL) Performance. Insertion loss for single-mode shall not exceed 0.25 dB for Xtreme Low Loss(XL) and 0.35 for Low Loss(LL) performance. All patch cords shall be compliant with ANSI/TIA-568-C.3.
