Bright Wire Rope is available in a variety of constructions and diameters. Typical constructions are 6 x 19, 6 x 25, and 6 x 37. Rotation resistant 19 x 7 wire ropes are also available.Galvanized cables and wire ropes are a great economical choice. They offer corrosion resistance at an affordable price. Galvanized coating is available in most strands, cables and wire ropes.Stainless Steel Type 302/304 is the most widely used of the stainless steel offerings. It offers good corrosion resistance and breaking strengths comparable to galvanized cable.Stainless Steel Type 316 has extra high corrosion resistance. It is often used in harsh environments where highly corrosive atmospheres are present. This alloy is commonly used in marine environments and offers excellent protection. The breaking strengths are typically 10% less than type 302/304 alloys.Sandin manufacturing also offers other alloys such as phosphorous bronze, monel, and inconel.
