The KPT-0937 1 Mil Polyimide Tape is a versatile solution for various industries, including Printed Circuit Board (PCB) production, automotive, and aerospace sectors. With exceptional physical, mechanical, and electrical properties, this tape can withstand temperatures up to 500°F continuously for 1 hour and short exposures over 700°F. Manufactured from commercial grade polyimide film with a special silicone adhesive that leaves no residue upon removal, it offers superior performance and reliability. Its construction includes a 1 mil polyimide carrier, 1.5 mil silicone adhesive, resulting in a total thickness of 2.5 mil. This tape is designed to meet Class H requirements, is flame retardant, exhibits excellent dielectric strength, chemical resistance, and is highly conformable for uneven surfaces or irregular shapes. Ideal for applications like Powder Coating, E-Coating, Wave Soldering, Hot Air Leveling, and Circuit Board Insulation.
