The 10 Inch Sch. 80 Alloy C22 Seamless or Welded Pipe, also known as Inconel® 22 and Hastelloy® C22, boasts exceptional corrosion resistance and ductility. This nickel-based superalloy is ideal for industries requiring superior performance and anti-corrosion characteristics at elevated temperatures. Common applications include chemical processing, paper and pulp, oil and gas, pesticide production, sour gas services, and waste incinerators. Providing considerable resistance at elevated temperatures, Inconel® 22 has been adopted for nuclear fuel reprocessing, flue gas desulfurization and seawater-based applications.With the nickel as its primary base, Inconel® 22 alloy includes a chemical composition of 20-22.5% Cr, 12.5-14.5% Mo, a maximum of 2.5% Co, 2.5-3.5% W, and 2-6% Fe. For annealing treatment, temperature ranges should remain between 2020 and 2150 ºF. Inconel® 22 is suited for applications that require superior performance at elevated temperatures and for its full spectrum of anti-corrosion characteristics.
