The DT-35-12-22 12-inch Urethane Compression Spring is designed for applications where corrosion, vibration, and magnetism restrict the use of traditional steel springs. With a hardness of 80A duro, it offers high load-carrying capacity, dielectric strength, protection against marring/galling, and more. This urethane spring is oil and solvent resistant, operates effectively between -30°F and 180°F, and provides vibration damping and shock absorbance. Ideal for punching, stamping, and drawing dies, it ensures longer life and low noise levels.

P.P.CâS urethane spring material is a polyether-elastomer that reacts similarly to an incompressible fluid. The volume of material moved by compression is displaced laterally in the form of bulging sides. An approximation to the change in diameter of one of our standard cylindrical urethane springs can be made by increasing the diameter by the same amount of compression.
