The 15" reel is perfect for those situations where you need to get more components onto a reel (up to 37% more) without altering your production line because it fits onto standard SMT equipment. And for those especially difficult applications, 22" Tek Snap reels can allow you to fit up to 200% more components onto one reel.

Tek Snap reels have a 3-piece snap-together design, featuring interchangeable cores and flanges to maximize your reel configuration options, as well as save storage space. Our reels are easily assembled by hand and are shipped unassembled with the flanges nested together to minimize shipping and storage volume (50 unassembled 13" reels are contained in a box 14" x 12" x 24").Tek Snap reels are injection molded from high-impact polystyrene with anti-static additives and are compliant with EIA-481 series standards. All Tek Snap cores have a scroll hub start feature and EIA-481 standard 13 mm diameter arbor holes with 1.5mm drive spokes. Reels built with 6" cores and 22" flanges have a removable insert to create a 27.7 mm arbor hole
