Adhesive/Tape -Seals expanding axially or radially in can be retained inside the groove channel by bonding the bottom of the seal to the channel, by applying an adhesive/glue or with the help of a double sided tape.Tight Fit -Seals expanding radially outwards can be retained within the groove by making them slightly smaller in length than the required length i.e. by under-sizing the seal. Due to the elastomeric properties of rubber, the undersized seal will stretch and tightly fit inside the groove channel.
