The 17.6mm Crown Type 3B Snap-In Seal is designed for applications requiring superior sealing of large inflation gaps, especially in crown configurations. With fabric-reinforced construction, it excels in axial or radial outward expansion, making it ideal for straight seals. Featuring dimensions W, H, and H1 of 17.6mm, 12.7mm, and 11.1mm respectively, this seal can withstand maximum internal pressures of 6 bar. It is compatible with both plastic/metal retainers and rubber retainers for secure installation.

Plastic/Metal Retainer -Type 3 seals can be snapped in plastic/metallic retainers. Plastic retainers can be extruded in a single piece. Metal retainers, however, are extruded in three parts. These parts are then held together using bolting pins. The seal is snapped in place.Snap-In (Rubber Retainer) -The seal snaps in place in an extruded rubber retainer, which is firmly supported on the sides or in a channel.
