The 2 Inch Sch. 80 Alloy C22 Pipe, also known as Inconel® 22 and Hastelloy® C22, is a fully austenitic nickel-based superalloy renowned for its superior corrosion resistance. Its high ductility facilitates easy cold forming, while the alloy composition includes 20-22.5% Cr, 12.5-14.5% Mo, and more, making it ideal for applications requiring exceptional performance at elevated temperatures. Available in seamless or welded options, this pipe is commonly used in chemical processing, oil and gas, and nuclear fuel reprocessing industries.

Common applications include chemical processing, paper and pulp, oil and gas, pesticide production, sour gas services, and waste incinerators. Providing considerable resistance at elevated temperatures, Inconel® 22 has been adopted for nuclear fuel reprocessing, flue gas desulfurization and seawater-based applications.With the nickel as its primary base, Inconel® 22 alloy includes a chemical composition of 20-22.5% Cr, 12.5-14.5% Mo, a maximum of 2.5% Co, 2.5-3.5% W, and 2-6% Fe. For annealing treatment, temperature ranges should remain between 2020 and 2150 ºF. Inconel® 22 is suited for applications that require superior performance at elevated temperatures and for its full spectrum of anti-corrosion characteristics.
