    Adhesive/Tape -Seals expanding axially or radially-in can be retained inside the groove channel by bonding the bottom of the seal to the channel with an adhesive, glue, or double sided tape.Tight Fit -Seals expanding radially outwards can be retained within the groove by making them slightly smaller in length than the required length i.e. by under-sizing the seal. Due to the elastomeric properties of rubber, the undersized seal will stretch and tightly fit inside the groove channel. Engineers at Western Rubbers possess the expertise in deciding the proportion in which the seal should be under sized.Ribs -In selected cases, seals are manufactured with ridges given on the outer side of the side walls. They offer increased friction and hold the seal tightly inside the groove channel.
