Refine your design with our accessories and prototype kitsWhen you’re looking for high-quality cable assemblies, not just any cable manufacturer will do.Use the finest, most flexible and durable materials when producing your prototype assembly. Sava’s miniature cable is constructed of fine stainless steel wires, internally lubricated and coated with tough abrasion-resistant nylon. When your design is completed, inquire with Sava about production quantities. Finally, make your own prototype cable assemblies, lanyards, control cabling and more.This package consists of precision crimping Tool No. T185, two choices of the following 20 cable sizes and four choices (15 pcs. ea.) of the fittings.
Note
Tool No. T185 is designed to give full cable strength for the loop sleeves. The ball end plugs and the threaded plugs, crimped over the nylon, will give approximately 50% of the rated breaking strength of the cable when properly applied. All above fittings, when factory applied, will give full rated strength of the cable. To get maximum crimping bond, strip nylon from cable. The T185 is designed for prototype or short-run applications by attaching fittings to cables and is to be used only on brass and copper fittings. We recommend that all assemblies made with the T185 be tested for strength before use.Sava recommends the use of a thimble when using loop sleeves. Miniature thimble part no. AN100C01 should be used for cables 2009SN – 2048; Part AN100C03 for cables 2048SN2 – 2064 and 2065, 2064SN3 and 2065SN3.
