The 3/8 Inch Sch. 10 Alloy C276 Pipe, also known as Hastelloy® C276, is a high-quality, corrosion-resistant pipe suitable for environments with aggressive corrosion challenges. Composed of 57% Ni, 15-17% Mo, and 14.5-16.5% Cr, this pipe offers exceptional resistance to powerful oxidizers, acids, seawater, and other corrosive substances. Its ASTM specifications include B 516, B 619, B 622, B 626, B 775, DIN 17751, ISO 6207, VdTÜV 400/12.98, making it compliant with industry standards. The chemical composition of our Nickel Alloy C276 tubing contains 57% Ni, 15-17% Mo, 14.5-16.5% Cr, 4-7% Fe, 3-4.5% W and features a maximum of 1% Mn, 2.5% Co, 0.35% V, and 0.08% Si, giving it outstanding corrosion resistance. For manufacturing applications, it is easily welded using TIG, MIG, resistance, and electron beam techniques. However, oxyacetylene is not recommended. This combination of anti-corrosion and manufacturability make it a suitable choice for a wide variety of industries where critical applications involved highly corrosive environments.In marine engineering, Nickel Alloy C276 is used as a primary material to protect against seawater. In waste treatment and pollution control, it offers good protection from a variety of oxidizers. In the paper and pulp industry, Nickel Alloy C276 alloys are built into bleach plants and digesters. It's also used in components for the processing of sour gas and just about anything else subjected to sulfuric acid.
