The 3 Inch Sch. 80 Nickel Alloy C276 Pipe, also known as Hastelloy® C276, is a high-performance tubing solution designed to withstand aggressive corrosion in a variety of industrial applications. With a composition of 57% Ni, 15-17% Mo, and 14.5-16.5% Cr, this pipe offers exceptional resistance to oxidizers, making it ideal for chemical processing and marine engineering. Manufactured to meet ASTM specifications and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, this seamless or welded pipe is suitable for critical environments exposed to acids, seawater, chlorides, and more.

The chemical composition of our Nickel Alloy C276 tubing contains 57% Ni, 15-17% Mo, 14.5-16.5% Cr, 4-7% Fe, 3-4.5% W and features a maximum of 1% Mn, 2.5% Co, 0.35% V, and 0.08% Si, giving it outstanding corrosion resistance. For manufacturing applications, it is easily welded using TIG, MIG, resistance, and electron beam techniques. However, oxyacetylene is not recommended. This combination of anti-corrosion and manufacturability make it a suitable choice for a wide variety of industries where critical applications involved highly corrosive environments.In marine engineering, Nickel Alloy C276 is used as a primary material to protect against seawater. In waste treatment and pollution control, it offers good protection from a variety of oxidizers. In the paper and pulp industry, Nickel Alloy C276 alloys are built into bleach plants and digesters. It's also used in components for the processing of sour gas and just about anything else subjected to sulfuric acid.
