The 4" SC Style Sanitary Cartridge Check Valve is a premium stainless steel check valve designed for sanitary systems. It features replaceable food-grade FDA EPDM seals, ensuring a secure seal on sanitary ferrules. This valve fits various fittings including Alfa Laval Inc. Bevel Seat and Tri-Clamp®, Cherry-Burrell Q-Line, and S-Line fittings. With a compact design that requires minimal space in the line, this valve is highly economical compared to full-bodied valves. Its 1.50 psi Standard Cracking Pressure and 316 Stainless Steel construction make it a reliable choice for low-pressure relief and vacuum breaker applications.

Additional Information
The SC valve can also be used as a low pressure relief valve or vacuum breaker by using the desired spring settings. The Sanitary Cartridge Valve (SC) is a stainless steel check valve for use in new or existing sanitary systems. The SC design seals on the ID of sanitary ferrules with replaceable food grade seals (Standard is FDA EPDM). The valves fits the Alfa Laval Inc. Bevel Seat and Tri-Clamp® fittings, the Waukesha Cherry Burrell® Q-Line and S-Line fittings, and others with ID dimensions equal to the "F" dimension listed in the Sizes & Dimensions. The compact SC design fits inside a single fitting and requires no additional space in the line. Its size makes it extremely economical when compared to full-bodied valves. Choose from Check-All®'s broad selection of Seat Materials Cracking Pressure Options that allow this series to be used as a check valve, relief valve, or a vacuum breaker.PED Compliance Statement: Due to the unique "insert" design of our 3S, SC, CB, TC, SI, & UV, style check valves, they do not constitute an "identifiable pressure bearing housing" as defined in PED Guideline 1/8. These styles must be installed into either ferrules or fittings to create a pressure bearing housing. Instead, they are classified as "components of pressure equipment" as defined in PED Guideline 1/8. As a result, these valves can be sold in the European Community and no CE Mark is required.
