The 4ft Polypropylene Vertical Laminar Flow Hood features a 1/4" thick white polypropylene body, resistant to corrosive agents. Equipped with a non-dissipative PVC sash, built-in 18W fluorescent light, and an integrated fan filter module meeting IEST recommended practices for sound reduction and energy efficiency. With high-speed air flow of 540 ft³/min and vertical air flow direction, this benchtop hood provides a safe and efficient workspace for research and laboratory applications. Optional upgrades include material choices for the sash and work surface, ionizing bar, air velocity meter, UV-C sanitation light, and filter upgrades to HEPA or ULPA filters.

High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters are 99.99% efficient at removing 0.3 µm or larger particles. Filters can be upgraded to ultra-low particulate air (ULPA) filters that are 99.999% efficient at removing 0.12 µm or larger particles.Minihelic Gauge (0-1" Water Column). The gauge monitors pressure differential and when it exceeds the limit, the HEPA filter needs to be replaced.
