The 5.0 kVDC Rated Standard Micapacitors are high voltage mica capacitors designed for high energy devices. With a capacitance of 100 nF and a capacitance tolerance of ±10%, these micapacitors offer reliable performance. They feature a dissipation factor of 0.005 max at 25°C, 1 kHz, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 10.0 kV proof for 5 seconds. The insulation resistance ensures electrical safety with values of 25 MΩ*µF at 125°C and 4000 MΩ*µF at 25°C. These standard parts are mylar wrapped, epoxy endcapped, and come with AWG 18 solder-coated copper wire leads. Capacitors are shipped with leads shorted for added safety.
