The 5450A Mobile Prep Station is a highly versatile and portable air filtration system designed to meet the rigorous needs of industrial and governmental operations. It features adjustable filter racks for customizable filtration levels, a hazardous location motor and controls for safety, and a durable construction using 14-gauge steel. With efficient filtration using standard 20" x 20" filters, low maintenance sealed direct drive motor, and energy-saving recirculation design, this unit offers excellent performance and cost savings. Optional fire suppression and curtain enclosure systems further enhance its functionality.

Durable Construction 0
Manufactured using 14 gauge powder coated steel for long lasting durability and performance.This unit has the added advantages of an extended exhaust assembly (2' higher) and caster support extensions. The caster supports are 72" long and centered under the unit, and provide 125 % larger footprint for increased stability.
Efficient Filtration 0
Uses standard sized 20" x 20" filters, which are easy to replace. The standard filter set included for its multi-stage filtration system has two sets particulate filters and two sets carbon filters for the removal of odors and VOC's. The 3-Ply Link Panel filters have tested at 99.78 % efficient on paint overspray. In addition, there is a magnehelic gauge to monitor filter efficiency.
Low Maintenance 0
There are no bearings to grease or belts to change with its sealed direct drive motor.

Units can be ordered with optional fire suppression system and/or attached curtain enclosure system. The curtain enclosure for this model has the added advantages of a larger curtained area (10' x 10' x 10') than our standard models and heavier gauge enclosure supports.

The recirculation design eliminates the need for ventilation modifications or make-up air systems, and reduces energy costs by utilizing existing heated or cooled air. The backward curved non-overloading fan wheel is constructed with hollow airfoil blades. The fan wheels are statically and dynamically balanced to provide higher airflow performance at less horsepower, and with minimum air noise.
