Our 8 Inch Sch. 140 Alloy 600 Seamless or Welded Pipe, also known as Nickel Alloy 600 or Inconel® 600 pipe, offers exceptional resistance to oxidation up to 2000 ºF. This versatile nickel-chromium alloy contains 72% Nickel and is ideal for use in high-temperature and corrosive environments, including cryogenic applications. With a range of sizes from 1/8" to 26", it meets stringent ASTM and ASME specifications. In nuclear power, reactor vessels and heat exchangers use Nickel Alloy 600 piping and tubing. For chemical processing, Nickel Alloy 600 parts resist most alkaline solutions, sulfuric compounds, and low rates of attack from chlorine and hydrogen chloride. In aerospace, gas turbine components and jet engines benefit from Nickel Alloy 600's properties. High temperature environments such as heat treatment furnace components and fixtures withstand corrosion thanks to its increased nickel content. It's readily fabricated using hot or cold treatments and can also be brazed, welded, and soldered using standard processes.
