The 8 Inch Sch. XXH Alloy C22 Seamless or Welded Pipe is a premium nickel-based superalloy, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and ease of forming. Also referred to as Inconel® 22 and Hastelloy® C22, this fully austenitic material offers high ductility, making cold forming a breeze. With exceptional resistance to corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, this versatile pipe is ideal for various industries including chemical processing, oil and gas, and more. It is available in sizes ranging from 1/8" up to 26", catering to diverse application needs.

Common applications include chemical processing, paper and pulp, oil and gas, pesticide production, sour gas services, and waste incinerators. Providing considerable resistance at elevated temperatures, Inconel® 22 has been adopted for nuclear fuel reprocessing, flue gas desulfurization and seawater-based applications.With the nickel as its primary base, Inconel® 22 alloy includes a chemical composition of 20-22.5% Cr, 12.5-14.5% Mo, a maximum of 2.5% Co, 2.5-3.5% W, and 2-6% Fe. For annealing treatment, temperature ranges should remain between 2020 and 2150 ºF. Inconel® 22 is suited for applications that require superior performance at elevated temperatures and for its full spectrum of anti-corrosion characteristics.
