The Adjustable Air Nozzle 1009 is a high-performance solution suitable for a wide range of blowoff applications in industrial settings. Engineered to optimize air consumption, this aluminum nozzle features a micrometer-like dial for precise force and flow adjustments. With a pressure rating of 80 psig, air consumption of 13 SCFM, and force output of 12 oz, this nozzle ensures efficient operation while minimizing noise levels at 79 dBA. Its innovative Coanda effect technology amplifies compressed air flow, offering enhanced performance with reduced energy consumption. Additionally, it meets OSHA noise and pressure regulations, making it a reliable choice for industrial applications.

Specifications How Air Nozzles Work
Air Nozzles use the Coanda effect to amplify compressed air flow up to 25 times or more. As illustrated on the right, compressed air (black arrows) is ejected through a series of nozzles on the outer perimeter. As the air travels along the outer wall of the nozzle, surrounding air (blue arrows) is entrained into the stream. The airstream that results is a high volume, high velocity blast of air at minimal consumption. The air is always ejected so it can vent safely, well below OSHA dead end pressure requirements, should the nozzle end be blocked.
