The Advance Lifts BFL Series 18ft Scissor Lift is built for durability and reliability in high-travel applications, designed to move multiple pallets or large loads up to mezzanines or floor levels. Landing-Lockâ¢, Gates & Enclosures, Controls, Receptacle Charts and Bi-Parting GatesLanding Lockâ¢: Advance lifts has recently developed a Landing Lock⢠for our BFL mezzanine access scissor lift systems. We have a patent pending on the design and the name is trade mark protected. The design consists of two (2) locking pins mounted on the lift platform that are automatically engaged into two (2) supports that are integrated into the lift enclosure system to firmly hold the platform at the upper elevation. Sway and deflection are eliminated during loading/unloading operations. This device can be used to secure a platform at any grade level such as mezzanine floors, building floors or machine interfaces where loads are transferred from one surface to another surface.Gates and Enclosures: We are now manufacturing our own gates and enclosures. By moving the production of the gates and enclosures in house we have shortened our drawing and delivery times. Besides the quicker delivery times, this has allowed us to incorporate some design changes that will improve the fit and finish and make installation easier. The most noticeable change will be the incorporation of leveling feet. Besides making it very easy to deal with un-level floors, they also make it easier to adjust for small surprises like mezzanine lag bolts.All enclosures are custom designs. The main components are universal, but each local authority may tweak the codes to suit their tastes, so it is our job to provide a wide array of options to make it easier to comply with local needs.Our engineers and service people listen carefully to installers to be sure we adopt all the labor saving ideas that we hear about to make installations as quick and trouble free as possible.Features and BenefitsOur designs comply with all applicable ASME & ANSI standards Panel inserts are flattened expanded metal for excellent visibility Panel perimeters are angle iron with external access to mounting slots (Advance supplies 1/4" flanged nuts and flanged bolts for 5/16" slots) Two adjustable feet for each bottom panel for easy leveling Electro mechanical gate interlocks are NEMA 4 rated All metal components are fully primed & baked enamel finishes.

Advance has the most standard units of multistage scissors lifts (MSL's & BFL's) in the industry. We also build custom design units frequently. The attached photos are of a unit we built this month. Specifications are platform 7' x 13', travel of 23' and 12,000# capacity. If your customer has an application for a tall travel lift, be sure to talk to us. We have a lot of experience with big mechanical lift tables.

These units are equipped with the patented "Platform Centering Device".All of the controllers are assembled in our UL listed panel shop.These units are fully primed and finished with a baked enamel finish.The cylinders are machine grade with return lines.The oil reservoirs are mild steel for long life.These units conform to all applicable ANSI codes.All pressure hoses are double wire braid with JIC fittings.Two bi parting electrically interlocked folding gates are optional.A manual lowering valve is standard.
