AMS TRANS-245 is a silicone-free antifoam specifically designed for Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems and auto-dishwashing applications. This biodegradable solution effectively prevents excessive foaming in high-temperature cleaning processes, especially in alkaline environments. With a transparent orange liquid appearance, pH range of 7.0 to 8.0, and alkali solubility, TRANS-245 is stable and performs well under varying conditions, making it ideal for use in food industry applications where direct food contact is not anticipated.

TRANS-245 is a water-based, biodegradable, silicone-free antifoam developed to prevent excessive foaming in Clean-In-Place (CIP) cleaning systems and auto-dishwashing applications. It is alkali-soluble and stable, performs in high temperature systems and high protein soil conditions such as whey evaporators, and possesses mild detergency. TRANS-245 is effective within the food industry where direct contact with food is not expected to occur, and when followed by a potable water rinse.

TRANS-245 is available in 55-Gallon (gal) blue poly drums and 5-Gallon (gal) High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pails. By special request, the following packaging options are also available: bulk tanker, 275-Gallon (gal) totes, 55-Gallon (gal) lined openhead or tighthead steel drums, and 30 or 15-Gallon (gal) poly drums. Poly drums are blue unless specifically requested. Special requests may necessitate ordering in advance.

TRANS-245 antifoam is stable and long lasting; nevertheless, the product should be protected from freezing and prolonged exposure to direct sources of heat. Should TRANS-245 freeze, thaw the product at room temperature with the container closed and gently stir once completely thawed. Do not dilute TRANS-245 with water and store the product in diluted form: product stability will be compromised. Applied Material Solutions recommends that the product be used within one year.
