The ARMATEX® SF 90 is a heavy-weight fiberglass fabric coated on both sides with a durable silicone rubber compound, reaching a finished weight of 90 ounces per square yard. Designed for demanding environments, this fabric is ideal for constructing removable insulation pads, weld spatter protection, heat shields, and splash curtains. With a temperature rating of 450ºF (232ºC) for continuous exposure and 600ºF (315ºC) for transient exposure, it offers reliable thermal performance. Certified to ASTM E162, E 84.84a, and MIL-I-24244, the base fabric has a high temperature rating of 1000ºF (538ºC), making it suitable for various industrial applications.
