The Bleedport Auxiliary Fitting is designed for steam, air, and gas service, featuring a 3/32' bleedport orifice for main valve sizes up to 8' and a 1/8' orifice for 10' and 12' valves. In situations with pressure drops below 15 psig, the orifice reduces to 1/16'. For fluid applications, fuel oil employs a 3/32' orifice, while all other fluids use a 1/16' orifice irrespective of pressure conditions. Moreover, for main valve sizes up to 8', the orifice may be increased to 1/8' to enhance valve performance, preventing hunting behavior and ensuring optimal opening and closing speeds.
