The Canvas Phenolic Rod, ground from a sheet, adheres to FED. SPEC. LP-509A TYPE II/CE, MIL-P-15035FBE, and MIL-I-24768/14 TYPE FBG standards. Composed of medium weave cotton cloth fabric mixed with phenolic resins, this thermoset composite material offers excellent physical strength, resiliency, and electrical properties. With a maximum operating temperature of 257°F and high compressive and flexural strengths, it is ideal for structural supports, piston rings, gears, and bearing surfaces.
