The Dymax® 2,500 Centipoises (CP) Optical Adhesive is a high-quality one-part optical epoxy that provides low-stress, low-movement, and gap-filling solutions for lens bonding, laminating, positioning, VCSEL potting, and fiber optic assembly applications. With a nominal viscosity of 2,500 cP and a refractive index of 1.50, this adhesive cures rapidly under UV/Visible light, forming high-tensile-strength, optically clear bonds with low shrinkage. Resilient, yellowing-resistant, and solvent-free, it adheres well to glass, metal, ceramic, quartz, and plastic substrates, ensuring durable and stable optical assemblies.

Optical Adhesive for Bonding Plastics to Glass and MetalDymax® OP-29 UV cure optical adhesive forms tough, resilient bonds to glass, metals, and a variety of plastics including polycarbonate and polyimide. OP-29 adhesive cures in seconds upon exposure to UV light. OP-29 adhesive is available in two viscosities: a free-flowing liquid (OP-29) or as a thixotropic gel (OP-29-GEL).Recommended applications included tacking, bonding, sealing, and potting.Dymax® materials are no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax® UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax® lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
