The Dymax GA-142 UV-Curable Gasket Sealant Adhesive is a versatile solution for form-in-place and cure-in-place gasketing needs in electrical enclosures, HVAC ductwork, and automotive applications. With a nominal viscosity of 40,000 cP and cured durometer hardness ranging from 00 to 55, this adhesive offers excellent adhesion to various surfaces like glass, plastics, plated materials, and metal enclosures. It cures in seconds with UV/Visible light, forming a soft, tacky gasket that eliminates the need for labor-intensive methods like tape or die-cut gaskets. Ideal for automotive, lighting, electronics, HVAC, and energy applications, this adhesive ensures efficient production with reduced costs and inventories.

Additional Information Additional Information
Flexible, Light-Curable Form-in-Place Gasket AdhesiveDymax® GA-142 is a form-in-place (FIP) and cure-in-place (CIP) gasketing resin formulated for electrical enclosures, HVAC ductwork, and automotive casing applications which require a soft, sticky, flexible, low compression set. GA-142 has good adhesion to plastic, metal, and also ceramic surfaces. Easily dispense the material into intricate and complex configurations with the benefit of curing in-line, which allows for increased production speed, greater output, lower processing costs, and reduced inventories.Dymax® materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax® UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax® lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.

Specifications Note For Cured Compression Set At 85 Degree Celsi
Compression set is expressed as percentage of deflection per ASTM D395 Method B at 25% deflection. To determine percent recovery, subtract 1/4 of the value from 100%. For example, the recovery is 98.8% with a 5% compression set.
