Moisture-Resistant Multipurpose Medical Device AdhesiveDymax® MD® 1128A-M-VT medical device adhesive cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light in seconds. The product rapidly bonds flexible and rigid plastics typically used in the manufacture of medical devices such as reservoirs, tube sets, and fittings. MD® 1128A-M-VT features secondary heat-cure capability for applications where shadow areas are present. The material is impact-resistant and also fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm) for easy in-line visual inspection. Bondable substrates include stainless steel, aluminum, glass, NiTi, PC, and PMMA.Dymax® MD® Medical Device adhesives have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax® light-curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems, they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly.
