Specifications Specifications
The Economical Volumetric Screw Feeder must be constructed of rugged, carbon steel with a corrosion resistant zinc oxide primed, dry powder epoxy coating. The feeder shall include a heavy-duty, gear driven auger metering mechanism with a stainless steel auger, concentric helical overwind auger and built-in gravity fed hopper. All hardware shall be stainless steel. An adjustable, SCR motor controller must be housed in a water and dust proof NEMA 4X, UL approved enclosure. Auger shall be powered by a 1/3 HP DC motor and have mounting bracket for vibratory agitator/material conditioner.Feeder shall be a Model VMF-90C⢠as manufactured by Scaletron⢠Industries Ltd., Plumsteadville, PA.
