The GE Flotrex AP Pleated Filter features gradient density thermally-bonded polypropylene microfiber media that offers exceptional solids-holding capacity and precise micron retention ratings. Absolute-rated for air, gas, and liquid filtration with minimal pressure drop from 0.65 to 40 microns, these filters are constructed with high-purity polypropylene materials meeting FDA requirements for food contact. With a variety of elastomer material options, these filters provide reliable filtration for prefiltration, chemical filtration, pharmaceuticals, and biological fluids. Additionally, meeting USP class VI-121°C Plastics standards, these filters ensure chemical compatibility and low residue levels.

Flotrex AP filters may be autoclaved or in situ steam sterilized (up to 257ºF [125ºC], 30-minute cycles) for a maximum accumulated exposure of 10 hours. Alternately, the filters may be sanitized with compatible chemical agents.GE certifies that the material contained in its Flotrex AP pleated filters meet U.S. FDA requirements for food contact under the applicable regulations in 21 CFR. For further information, contact GE technical services. Flotrex AP filters meet the test criteria for USP class VI-121ºC Plastics.Aqueous extracts from Flotrex AP filters contain less that 0.25 EU/ml. The filters typically exhibit low levels of non-volatile residues.GE filter cartridges are designed and manufactured for resistance to a wide range of chemical solutions. Conditions will vary with each application and users should carefully verify chemical compatibility.
