Note 0
Removal efficiencies are reported for a given particle size, i.e. an efficiency of 99% at 3 microns means that the filter removes 99% of the particles that are 3 microns in size. The Beta Ratio (β) is calculated as a measure of efficiency for all particles equal to or larger than the given micron size. A Beta Ratio (β) of 5000 represents the removal of 99.98% of all particles equal to or larger than the given micron size.Trademark of General Electric Company; may be registered in one or more countries.
