The GE XPleat GF Filters are designed for applications requiring higher flow rates, offering both nominal and absolute filtration. With a nominal micron rating of 1 µm and an absolute micron rating of 4.0 µm, these pleated filter cartridges provide excellent filtration efficiency. Constructed with high-quality materials including glass microfiber media and elastomers like Buna-N, EPDM, Silicone, and Viton, these filters are engineered for durability and chemical resistance. Operating within a temperature range up to 180°F and withstanding differential pressures of up to 60 psid, these filters ensure reliable performance in various process fluid filtration applications.

XPleat GF filters are available in nominal and absolute micron ratings (Figure 1). The nominal micron ratings are: 0.2, 0.45, 1.0, 3.0 and 10.0 µm. The absolute micron ratings are 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0 and 15.0 µm. Tables 1, 2, 3 and 4 show further details on materials of construction, dimensions, operational limits and flow performance.
