The GE XPleat GF Filters are designed for applications requiring higher flow rates. These pleated filter cartridges feature glass microfiber media with nominal and absolute micron ratings of 3 µm and 8.0 µm respectively. With dimensions of 20 inches length, 2.75 inches outside diameter, and 1.25 inches inside diameter, these filters offer an effective filtration area of 9 sq. ft. Built with materials like Buna-N, EPDM, and polyester, they provide excellent sealing through thermal bonding. Operating within limits of 60 psid forward pressure, 30 psid reverse pressure, and 180°F temperature, they are suitable for general water services, fine process fluid filtration, and processes requiring high flow rates.

XPleat GF filters are available in nominal and absolute micron ratings (Figure 1). The nominal micron ratings are: 0.2, 0.45, 1.0, 3.0 and 10.0 µm. The absolute micron ratings are 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0 and 15.0 µm. Tables 1, 2, 3 and 4 show further details on materials of construction, dimensions, operational limits and flow performance.
