The GE XPleat GF Filters are premium pleated filter cartridges designed for applications requiring high flow rates. With a Glass Microfiber media, these filters offer both nominal (0.45 µm) and absolute (2 µm) micron ratings for exceptional filtration. Featuring durable construction with Buna-N, EPDM, Silicone, and Viton materials, these cartridges have a thermal bonding seal and O-ring adapters for secure installation. Operating within strict limits, they withstand up to 60 psid forward pressure and 30 psid reverse pressure. XPleat GF filters are available in nominal and absolute micron ratings (Figure 1). The nominal micron ratings are: 0.2, 0.45, 1.0, 3.0 and 10.0 µm. The absolute micron ratings are 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0 and 15.0 µm. Tables 1, 2, 3 and 4 show further details on materials of construction, dimensions, operational limits and flow performance.
