The H5800 Checkered Cover Sidewalk Box is constructed with durable cast iron and features a checkered, cross-ribbed cover designed for heavy pedestrian traffic. This flush-mount box comes with a Neoprene gasket, stainless steel fastenings, and three-piece construction for easy maintenance. Suitable for installations in sidewalks, bridges, dams, tunnels, and airports, this box is designed to withstand truck traffic damage. Optional galvanized checkered covers are available for H20 loading. Upgrade to cast aluminum by adding 'AL' to the part number.
