The H5800 Checkered Cover Sidewalk Box is a durable and versatile solution designed for sidewalks, bridges, dams, tunnels, and airports. Constructed from cast iron with a hot-dipped galvanized finish, this box meets NEMA 4 and NEMA 3R standards and is UL certified (UL File E 189027). Its cross-ribbed checkered cover provides excellent traction for pedestrian traffic and is flush with the concrete surface for a seamless look. The three-piece construction allows for easy maintenance, with interchangeable flanges and covers. Pry bar notches enable convenient lifting, while optional galvanized checkered covers are available for H20 loading.
