The H5800 Checkered Cover Sidewalk Box features a durable cast iron construction with a flush mounting design, ideal for sidewalks, walkways, bridges, dams, tunnels, and airports. Compliant with NEMA 4 and NEMA 3R standards, this box includes a cross-ribbed checkered cover for heavy pedestrian traffic, neoprene gasket, and stainless steel fastenings. It offers easy replacement of flanges and covers without disturbing the conduit system, making it ideal for high-traffic areas susceptible to truck damage. Optional galvanized checkered covers are available for H20 loading, ensuring maximum durability.
