The H5800 Type Checkered Cover Sidewalk Box, crafted from durable cast iron, boasts a flush mounting for a seamless finish. Compliant with NEMA 4, NEMA 3R, and U/L Std. 50 standards, this box features a checkered, cross-ribbed cover with a neoprene gasket and stainless steel fastenings. Pry bar notches allow for easy lifting, while interchangeability of flanges and covers ensures hassle-free maintenance. Ideal for bridges, dams, tunnels, airports, and more, this box can withstand heavy pedestrian traffic and is replaceable without disturbing the conduit system. For added durability, galvanized checkered covers are available for H20 loading upon request.
