The H5800 Type Checkered Cover Sidewalk Box is a durable solution designed for sidewalks, bridges, dams, tunnels, and airports. Made of cast iron with a hot-dipped galvanized finish, it meets NEMA 4 - NEMA 3R standards and UL File E 189027 certification. The box features a non-slip checkered cover, interchangeable flanges, and a neoprene gasket for added protection. With a three-piece construction and pry bar notches for lifting, this box is ideal for heavy pedestrian traffic areas. Optional galvanized checkered covers are available for H20 loading.
