The Heavy Duty Cast Aluminum Surface Mount Box in the HD6000 Type series is designed for the most severe weathertight and watertight installations. Constructed with heavy-walled cast aluminum and with a neoprene type packing for a gasket, this box is ideal for submerged service and can withstand high heads of water. The box features plated steel cap screws as standard, with options for monel, bronze, or stainless steel. It is suitable for Class II hazardous locations and can be customized with special gaskets. With a robust design and watertight features, this box is perfect for applications in flooded manholes, docks, underground installations, and more.
