The Heavy Duty Cast Iron Box HD6000 is a rugged NEMA-rated enclosure designed for extreme weather conditions and submersion service. Constructed with heavy-walled cast iron and equipped with neoprene gaskets, this box ensures weathertight and watertight installations in flooded areas, underground settings, and sub-stations. With protected steel cap screws, interior mounting buttons, and the option for customized gaskets, this box is ideal for mounting panels, relays, transformers, and other devices. Suitable for hazardous locations, this box meets Class II, Groups E, F, and G standards when equipped with Vellumoid gaskets and bossed conduit entrances. Available in cast aluminum upon request.
