The Heavy Duty Cast Iron HD6000 Surface Mounting Box is designed for the most severe weathertight and watertight installations, making it ideal for submersion service. Made of heavy-walled cast iron with plated steel cap screws, this box is extensively gasketed and features four mounting lugs for secure installation. It can withstand high heads of water and is suitable for hazardous locations when equipped with the Vellumoid gasket and bossed conduit entrances. Additionally, this box can be made in cast aluminum upon request.
