The Heavy Duty Cast Iron Outdoor Electrical Enclosure, HD6000 Type, is a rugged surface-mounted box designed for extreme weather conditions. Constructed with heavy-walled cast iron, this enclosure is ideal for submerged installations in flooded manholes, docks, piers, seawalls, and sub-stations. Equipped with neoprene gasket packing and plated steel cap screws, it ensures weathertight and watertight performance under high water heads. The HD6000 type meets Class II, Groups E, F, and G hazardous location standards when equipped with Vellumoid gasket and bossed conduit entrances. Interior mounting buttons provide a secure method for mounting devices like panels and relays. Upgrade options include drilling, tapping, special gaskets, and bronze hinges.
