The H5800 Type - Checkered Cover Sidewalk Box is a robust solution designed for heavy pedestrian traffic in sidewalks, bridges, tunnels, and airports. Made of durable cast iron with a hot-dipped galvanized finish, this box features a cross-ribbed checkered cover that provides a non-slip surface flush with finished concrete. Its three-piece construction allows for easy replacement of flanges and covers without disrupting the conduit system. With a neoprene gasket and stainless steel fastenings, this box ensures secure and weather-resistant installations. For added strength against H20 loading, options for galvanized checkered covers are available. Boss, drilled, and tapped holes can be accommodated at an additional cost.
